Race Route

A challenging 5km route that includes dirt track, tarmac and a few climbs.

Runners start the race in front of Marine Walk shopping centre, crossing over Jabu Ngcobo drive before hitting the dirt track. The dirt track is followed to the top of the hill, where you turn left onto Heleza Avenue. Here runners enjoy a downhill run, before climbing up to the turn point at Signature residential estate. The return is on the same route back to Gold Coast estate where the route goes left onto the dirt road again, up over the hill and back along the same route to Jabu Ngcobo drive, where runners cross the road and pass in front of the Marine Walk shopping centre, at the far end a right turn takes runners up the ramp to the centre car park. Keeping to the right-hand side runners complete a length of the car park, finishing at the far end in front of the Devmco Offices.
